No, this is not a cry for help people, but the title of my latest novel I’ve been working on! It’s called ‘Get Help’ and is a Supernatural/Mystery/Romance WIP. But, since I’m nice, I’m letting people get a look inside while I’m still writing it! I plan on finishing it before NaNoWriMo and having enough time to plan my idea for this year’s NaNoWriMo.

Annnnndddddd, here’s the Summary of ‘Get Help’!

‘She was the only hope of either saving the world or destroying it. Too bad sixteen year old Skylar Harding didn’t know this. Can she survive enough to keep her sanity and save the world? Or will she crumble and give up before she even knows?’

Elves…

Yes, you read the title right! I have come to the conclusion that one of these days I need to write a story about elves! Why? Well, on the Tokio Hotel US forum, one user (Amdee!) pointed out how Tom and Bill seem like the perfect things for elves! Now I cannot get the idea out of my head!

If I do write it, don’t worry, they won’t be the perfect elves at Christmas time!

More Than You Know

Okay, so for the short story I had to write for my Honors English class had to be in first person to show the person’s thoughts. While at first I struggled a lot with figuring out what the conflict would be, I finally came to it when I was listening, of course, to my iPod. I feel this is a strong topic for me because I’ve had a few members in my family who have dealt with cutting themself. So, this is a very strong topic for me, and I’m just glad my teacher said it was good! I went with a minimalistic way of writing because I felt that captured the moment the best. I’m posting a little excerpt for you guys to read, I hope you like it!

My vibrant blue eyes seem to dull. My blond hair wilts before my eyes. My “beautiful” face deforms to the monster I am. The monster no one else sees but me.

I am not pretty.

I am not loved.

I am not known.

My parents constantly fight, I’m constantly being picked on, and I’m never chosen over that one girl with all the looks.

No, you can’t leave!

I’m taking the kids!

No, you’re not!

Don’t you touch me!

I’m sorry.

I love you.

It’s always the same. They fight over a menial thing. We leave. We come back. All is good until one finds some error in the other. Never is it about me they say. But, it’s always my fault they fight, in my eyes anyway. I’m the one who told Mom about Daddy’s little secret.

Nevertheless of any doubt my mind holds, I know. I know who my new best friend is about to be. We were about to become acquainted fairly quickly. It’s sad that the friendship had to occur and end so quickly, though.

Faintly, my hand grabs the blade.

Then, doubt sets in again.

I wonder if it will hurt. I wonder if anyone will cry. I wonder if anyone will find me.

What will my funeral be like? Will anyone even show for it? Or will my parents just cremate me and not even deal with the service?

Short Story Writing…

…is very hard sometimes! Especially when you have a teacher like I’ve got <_<. Anywho, my short story MIGHT be sent in to a short story contest if my teacher likes it enough. If it is not accepted, then I will post the story up here for you to read. However, if it is sent in, then I'll hold on publishing it for a while! I hope it does get accepted though because I focused on an important issue in my opinion.

I'm a HUGE supporter of TWLOHA (even if I can't donte money, I love their message!). My story pretty much focuses on the theme that you should never give up on life. Someone will always be there to help you through the rough times, even if you can't see that.

Chantelle Paige… Rose Simmons

As anyone who follows me on Twitter knows, I am a huge fan/supporter of Chantelle Paige. Seriously, I think she’s an amazing singer, and so pretty! Well, someone on my formspring.me (http://formspring.me/kairoru) pointed out to me, she apparently did a new photoshoot recently with Katy Malone. I must say… I LOVE the shoot!

While I refrain from reposting my “dreamcast”, I’ll say this: I think Chantelle would be awesome for Rose, even if Rose is a high schooler. Why? Well, because she would also fill the part for Artemis, who’s a Greek Goddess, so she’d have to look a little more mature than the average bear!

But, back on subject here… Now, this new photoshoot proves my thought process even more! Why? Well, she’s in some forest type thing, and in my eyes looks like Artemis :p! Maybe it’s the trees, I don’t know, but I am seeing Artemis in the pictures! And did I mention I LOVE that dress she’s wearing? Well… LOVE IT!

Writer’s Advice and Editing… AGAIN

So the writer my friend suggested I talk to got back to me. Her advice was helpful. A summery of it is that I need tough skin, to be able to connect with readers, and be ready for a tough ride. OH, and not to self-publish because that’s like social suicide!

So, first thing before I begin submitting queries: edit… Again. I’ve done it once before, and kind of rushed through it. This time, I’m just focused on getting a few chapters read and edited a night. So far I’m still in the first section of the book (I chopped it into three parts. I’m not revealing too much though!). But, that’s almost over with. Hopefully this weekend I’ll get the second part done with, then the third next week! I’m so excited !

Delete the Past, Go into the Future

I’ve come to the conclusion that no one likes the preview on fictionpress for “The Gift From Zeus” enough to review. I’m not one to beg for reviews, so instead of begging even more than I have, I’m just going to delete it from my stories. I feel this video describes how my story is really written. I think it shows the change to god/goddess as well as the fight at the end in a fantasy type way! I love Najoua Belyzel’s work; she’s amazing!
